Mission 1:8
Goal: Our goal in missions is to introduce people to Jesus and disciple people on a local, national, and global level. We are inspired by Acts 1:8 
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Plan in action: Using the summer months as a spring board to create both short and long term opportunities for the church.
Local: We plan to pursue three specific local missions (one day per month). Our local focus will be to help as needed in the community guided by prayer. The hope is to introduce people to the Gospel while showing Christ’s love through our actions. The summer of service could be an integral part of this focus. No application is necessary to participate in the local missions. However, we will be doing a signup sheet at the info table.
National: We plan to pursue one specific national mission trip. Our national focus will be to help as needed within the USA guided by prayer. Our hope is to introduce people to the Gospel while showing Christ’s love through our actions. Download the Application Here (pdf)
International: We plan to pursue one specific international mission trip. Our international focus is not exclusive to any specific area and would, again, be guided by prayer. How to get involved: We are excited about what the Lord is doing in us, and through us this summer, and if you are too, there are multiple ways you can get involved.

Fundraising Crew: Fundraising is another integral part of missions. We believe that God can absolutely provide for every person he calls into missions, but that does not mean we should sit back and wait for that to happen (unless He tells us to). Often the best fundraisers can be those whom God has not called to actually go, but they have a passion to see missions happen. This crew will be a group that plans and entacts fundraisers to specifically fund the missions goals this summer. Local: We are still in the planning phase of the local missions for this summer. Missoula is a city that has multiple opportunities to plug in to, and we are praying about where the Lord wants us to do so. National:We are still in the planning phase of the local missions for this summer. We are very blessed to live in a country that allows us to worship freely and speak openly about our faith. It is important for us to pour back into our nation the love that Jesus has to offer. International: We are still in the planning phase of the international mission trip. We are called in the Great Commission to reach out to all people of all nations. In light of this, we are praying about where God would have us go this summer. Financial Support: Financial support is an immediate way you can become involved in the missions for this summer. While the local ministries will most likely have less financial requirements, the national and international missions will require some financial help. Also, there may be opportunity to financially bless those we work with as well, through projects or financial gifts.
